Well the BIG patch has landed and it is a big-un. Not only is the "Commons" up but several things have changed. Gems & their crafting, locations of items in your GUI, Re-feat caps and much more. Conq's can now wear Full Plate armor...yeah like this [Salubrious Bluesteel Plate Chestguard]
I have ran into a couple of things that I thought I would share. 1st there is a Mount Tab under your attributes tab that holds your...well Mounts (horses, mamoths etc) so if by chance you click on your mount that you just purchased and it disappears....dont buy another one..it is now under that tab (and yes I am speaking from experience..shut up).

If you use Furia UI there is a new link to download the updated version which will properly show your skills list and the new tabs. Make sure you run ByCrom to update all the XML files beofre you start AoC.

Gems are now color coded and you can "Un-slot" them as long as you have the "[Tainted Alkahest]" potion. See me or buy them on the tradepost under potions. At this time I believe it is a recipe drop in XIB. Having the potion will allow you shift click on the item (weapon armor etc) to bring up a static box on screen for that item and you simply shift Right click to bring up the delete choice, this will reduce or use one of your potions...I removed 2 gems from an item and it only used 1 potion so I am not sure exactly how many are needed if you want to remove all your gems.

This patch has re-invigorated me as it were to get back into the game. after this weekend I hope to be in some in the morning and evening several days a week and prolly even some weekend time so I look forward to seeing you all again.

And I still cant figure out how to start the questline for Attilius Mansion. Although i have killed Attilius himself several time with both Sonnet and Charlemagne. Starting to think they dont have any quests for it in game...
